THE FOUNDATION TARGA FLORIO
The Targa Florio Foundation is a Non-Profit organization created by the desire of enthusiasts from Sicily and all over Italy to collect important artifacts related to the Targa Florio that otherwise might have been lost . The Mission of the Targa Florio Foundation is to promote artistic culture in the automotive world through events, art exhibits, symposiums and shows. To that end, the Foundation takes advantage, in Italy and abroad, of the contributions of experts from all aspects of art and culture. The Foundation is active in marketing and international communication strategies in the automotive field, based on a system of cultural exchanges to promote the commercial growth between Italy and the other countries involved in its various projects. The Targa Florio Foundation is an ambassador of Italian motoring culture through the Italian Institute of Culture, located all over the world, other institutions, and national and international groups.
ASI
Founded in 1966, the Automotoclub Storico Italiano is a Federation of almost 300 clubs with over 140.000 members. The mission of ASI is to support and defend the general interests of the national historical vehicles, underscoring their cultural, social and historical value. Any type of motor vehicle over twenty years old, from supercar to agricultural tractor, from scooter to military transport, is eligible to the ASI register and to all the fiscal benefits, special insurance policies and circulation privileges deriving from ASI’s certification. As of today there around 45.000 vehicles possessing this prestigious ASI certificate. ASI is also the publisher of several books each year and of the magazine “La Manovella”. Last but certainly not least, ASI organizes each year events of all types: concours d’elegance, symposiums and exhibits, rallyes. ASI is a member of FIVA
